In this blog post, you'll discover a treasure trove of videos and photos showcasing my "TATTERED BUNNY COLLAGE BOOK" junk journal. We kicked things off with a PAPER PREMIERE on YouTube, which you can watch anytime via the replay link below.
[A huge THANK YOU to all of you who have joined the live chat!]
In the premiere, I introduced my latest paper collections and shared the journal I crafted using them.
This time, I approached the process in a completely new way compared to my previous journals. Instead of gathering all the materials upfront, I focused on creating small elements like labels, snippets, and collage fodder—without even having a single sheet of paper prepared for pages or signatures. This method felt incredibly relaxing and liberating, offering a fresh perspective on journal-making. Perhaps you’d like to give it a try as well!
If so, here are some creative ideas for making collage fodder elements—like labels and snippets—all those tiny bits and pieces we adore! Plus, I’m offering a FREE MASTERCLASS on creating COLLAGE FODDER FLOWERS just for you!

BRAINWAVE: ENVELOPE POCKET FLIP - bringing an idea to life!
This was one of those days, where I had an idea while I was sleeping, and the next day I tried to bring it to life. I called it an ENVELOPE POCKET FLIP, because it's a pocket made from an envelope which can flip up to release a cute surprise. If you expect a professional tutorial, you're definitely in the wrong place, but if you want to see the ups and downs, thoughts, and considerations during my process of making this, this video is for you.
Does junk journaling cause brain cell loss? Almost forgot this POCKET!
Please tell me I'm not alone with this problem! I get one of those 'let's save that for later' ideas for my junk journal, then I do something else in the meantime. And in the very end, when the journal is already almost finished, my brain remembers that idea... This is why we're creating a pocket that I almost forgot in this video.
FINISHING TOUCHES & FLIP THROUGH
When I came across junk journaling several years ago, I watched a lot of videos to learn what it's all about. There was this one term that always caught my attention: finishing touches. But what are they, and how can you add them to a junk journal without getting overwhelmed or distracted? Let's talk about that in this video and do a final flip-through of my tattered bunny collage book junk journal.
Here you can find the digital papers I've used to make the journal. Please click the previews of the paper collections, then you'll come to my shop and there you can check them out in detail!
