MY MAKES FOR STAMPERS ANONYMOUS & TIM HOLTZ [JULY '24]

Tim Holtz and Stampers Anonymous have just released an exciting new stamp collection that has crafters buzzing with excitement. The designs are so extraordinarily fantastic that it's hard to decide which set to use first. Each stamp set features intricate details and unique themes, making them perfect for adding a special touch to any project.

In this post, I share a total of five projects I made, including process videos. The videos will show up as soon as they go live on my YouTube channel, so it's worth coming back to this page to not miss a thing.

Let's start with my first make - a set of three cards with shimmering flowers on an abstract background. I created collages with a lot of depth and details using some easy stamping and layering techniques.

Do you want to know what I sometimes think when I watch videos of people creating cards? I think it looks so easy what they are doing, yet at the same time so ingeniously brilliant, that it must have been really difficult to achieve and that it only looks so simple because the video is edited on YouTube. So with this card set I did an experiment to get to the bottom of this question! Learn more about it in the video!

For this next make, I had to cheat a little bit with embroidery again! If you know me, you know why. I made a vignette display panel with a stamped and painted embroidery hoop. Get ready for a mixed media experiment with some unexpected surprises...

Take what you need, that is something we should, in my opinion, heed much more often in life, and when crafting, sometimes it's the time you should take to implement a sudden idea. That's how this giant card came to life, with a tear-off sheet, like on an advertising pillar.

With this card set, it's going to become yellow! Well, at least a little. I'll show you how I created a floral card set using easy stamping techniques and a wild mix of various ideas, techniques, and styles - all harmoniously combined. If you know me, you know the likelihood of an accident happening with such a project is high. And that's exactly what happened today. However, it was a happy accident in the truest sense of the word because it made my cards truly unique.
